Lauren is one of those rare professionals who is both open-minded and solidly grounded. She helps her clients sort through their struggles, re-discover their own unique personal truth and find practical, down to earth ways to improve their lives. As a life improvement colleague, I would recommend Lauren as a therapist to anyone who is looking for an educated and fresh, integrative perspective.

I've always had a deep curiosity about the human psyche.  What brings meaning to people's lives?  How can people let their light shine and live joyfully despite past, present, and future challenges? Throughout my life I've found myself searching for ways to ease the pain or challenges faced by those around me.   I'm inspired by the desire to find more meaning and fulfillment in life through exploring the relationships we have with self, others, and the world around us.

It is this curiosity and love for human growth and healing that led me to complete a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver.  I chose an emphasis in couple and family counseling because I believe that even as individuals, our world is shaped by our most precious (and often challenging!) relationships - love and family.  My thirst for integrative, meaningful, and unique approaches to counseling led me to complete a number of supplemental certifications, workshops, and training to create more depth and diversity in the approach and perspective I offer my clients.
